Six Years, One Big Thank You: Tee Off Fore Hope Recap

Six years ago, a few people who love golf and love this community had an idea: what if a day on the course could change a family's year?

On September 10th, the sixth annual Tee Off Fore Hope Charity Golf Tournament proved that idea right one more time. Golfers filled Soldier Hollow in Midway, and every swing helped a local family facing cancer.

So before anything else, we want to say it plainly: thank you.

A Day on the Course

The morning started with check-in, coffee, and a lot of friendly trash talk. 24 teams teed off at Soldier Hollow, and the course was buzzing all day.

A few highlights:

  • Winning team: Max Connect took first place.

  • Contests: Closest to the pin: Jordan Clyde & Longest drive: Tadd Cox

  • Best moment: Two teams battling it out on the green to see who would take home the top spot!

Whether you were chasing a trophy or just there for a good cause, you made the day what it was.

Thank You to Everyone Who Showed Up

To our golfers: You signed up, showed up, and played for something bigger than a scorecard. Many of you have been with us all six years, and we see you.

To our sponsors: Your support covers the cost of putting on the tournament, so more of every golfer's entry fee goes back to families. A special thank you to:

  • Duffs Leathercare Products

  • Probst Electric

  • Timberidge Custom Homes and Remodels

  • The UPS Store

  • The Hub & Mountain Land One Stop

  • Shakespeare Development Group LLC

  • Peirce Cabinet Inc

  • Coleman Trucking

  • Highland Golf Carts

  • Valley Insurance

  • Signarama

To our golf committee and volunteers: You planned for months, worked the check-in table, ran the contests, and kept everything moving. This tournament is yours.

To Soldier Hollow: Thank you for giving us such a beautiful place to play.

What Your Swings Made Possible

This year's tournament raised ~$30,000 That's enough for 20 families to receive a $1,500 gift from HMC. Those gifts go directly to families in Wasatch County who are facing cancer.

They help with rent, groceries, gas to treatment, and the everyday bills that pile up during the hardest season of a family's life.
